California Academy of Sciences Exhibit Planner
Working with the Interactive Media Group at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, Stamen designed a new way of navigating the Academy's incredible Renzo Piano-designed building in Golden Gate Park.
The structure, remarkable for its platinum LEED certification, green roof, and other architectural innovations, flows across multiple floors and is therefore difficult to map. In addition, the Museum wanted to find a way for people to explore the various exhibits before they arrived. We designed an interactive map which highlights the exhibits on the museum's various floors, and lets people save and print potential routes through the multi-leveled space.
