On April 17th, thousands of people across the country held “Bake Sales for Democracy,” selling baked goods in their neighborhoods to raise money for MoveOn.org’s political efforts.
Stamen’s interactive map of this groundbreaking event showed the power that individuals can have in affecting the political process—the event raised over $750,000 for progressive causes in one weekend!
