Shawn is a designer, programmer, and partner at Stamen. As Design Director, he is responsible for connecting the studio's visual interfaces with the underlying data and technologies that drive them. He moonlights as a teacher and consults journalists, policymakers, and the public sector on strategies for making information freely available and easily consumable, both visually and programatically.
