Damon Burgett

Damon is a geographer and developer from Vashon Island in the Salish Sea. He brings a broad array of experience in geographic data processing and visualization to Stamen, where he loves applying rigorous yet creative solutions to our client’s needs. Before Stamen, Damon was a Senior Developer and Tech Lead at Mapbox working on data processing pipelines, tile serving APIs, and creative encoding of raster data into RGB images. When he is not pushing pixels, he spends his time as a shoddy carpenter and chicken farmer on his acreage on Vashon.
