In 2020 we consulted with industry-leading geospatial solutions company ESRI on the launch of their ArcGIS Platform for developers.

ESRI wanted to open up their platform to enable users of a variety of open-source toolkits to access the power of the ArcGIS cloud. Recognizing Stamen Design as opinionated yet platform-agnostic experts in a variety of tools, ESRI hired Stamen to consult on the development of their ArcGIS Platform API, and to build demos and tutorials demonstrating the ease in which popular open-source mapping libraries such as Mapbox GL JS and OpenLayers can interact with advanced geospatial operations provided by ArcGIS.
