Cambridge Systematics came to Stamen to help them redesign their data portal and dashboards for analyzing movement patterns. They wanted help streamlining their workflow creating dashboards of transportation data for various clients and internal use. This involved creating both innovative designs as well as optimizing performance for their massive datasets.

We first got to work creating designs for a new data portal and subsequently worked with a third party to help them implement the designs for production. We then created new dashboard designs and working prototypes for their general LOCUS Passenger dashboard as well as their LOCUS Transit dashboard. We worked to create new ways of visualizing their data on the map as well as in secondary visuals, all the while refreshing the dashboards’ visual design.
